The Chœur Louisbourg, under the direction of Monique Richard, has made a point of exploring off the beaten tracks of concert music since its founding in 2006. For both the authenticity and refinement to which it aspires in its interpretation of early music, as well as for its championing of contemporary music, the choir occupies a unique place in the cultural landscape of New Brunswick.
